Overview

Electric dual-motor gripster 300 kg with display: an electric vacuum gripper with an oval suction pad (240 x 160 mm). For around €194, the manufacturer quotes a load capacity of 300 kg. It is sold without a brand name of its own, like many vacuum lifters made in China.

Price and load capacity compared

Among the 265 oval gripsters in this comparison, it ranks in the most expensive quarter. At 300 kg, its load capacity is 40 kg above the typical value for this design (260 kg). That works out at 155 kg of capacity per €100 spent; the median is 341 kg.

Drive and operation

The pump runs on a built-in battery: compact and affordable, but the tool has to pause to recharge. A digital display shows the vacuum level and battery charge. If the vacuum drops, the tool automatically pumps back up.

Seal and applications

The sealing lip is rubber. On smooth surfaces such as glass, polished tiles and stone it seals very tightly and lasts a long time; on rough or textured surfaces it is at a disadvantage. According to the data sheet it is suitable for tiles, large-format tiles, glass and natural stone.
