Narrow and rectangular vacuum grippers

Narrow and rectangular vacuum grippers are specialists for strips, stair treads, baseboards and slabs with little contact area. Per €100 you typically get only 148 kg of load capacity, less than half the figure across all vacuum lifters (333 kg). All models are electric. The seal stands out: 61% have a foam seal and only 29% a rubber seal. 31% have a digital display and 24% an LED indicator. Among the battery-powered units, 43% rely on a removable battery, and 24% re-pump automatically.

What to look for

• Width of the suction pad: Measure your narrowest workpiece. The seal must make contact along its entire length, or no vacuum will form.
• Foam for textures: The soft seal compensates for grooves and rough surfaces, but wears faster. Care tips in the guide Caring for and replacing seals.
• Plan load capacity realistically: At a typical 100 kg, this vacuum lifter, also called a gripster, is meant for small parts. For large slabs, oval or round models are a better choice.
• Top values: The ranking Strongest narrow vacuum grippers shows the models with the highest load capacity.
