Privacy

The Saugheber-Kompass is built so that as little data as possible is generated when you visit. This page explains what data is processed, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies. There is no tracking and there are no analytics tools, no audience measurement and no advertising networks. Your visit is not analyzed, and no user profiles are created.

No third-party services

The website does not embed any content or services from third parties, such as videos, maps, social media buttons or external scripts. Even the fonts are served from this website's own server. Loading a page therefore does not establish a connection to any outside servers, and no data is transmitted to third parties.

Server log files

Like every web server, the server of this website stores technical access logs. The following data is recorded:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • Page or file requested
  • Browser used and its version

This data is used solely for the security and technical operation of the website, for example to detect errors and fend off attacks. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and stable operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are not combined with other data and are automatically deleted after a short time.

Comparison list in your browser

If you save vacuum lifters, also called gripsters, for comparison, the website stores this selection in your browser's local storage (localStorage). The list stays exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to the server or to third parties. You can clear the list at any time in the comparison tool or delete it in your browser settings.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights toward the controller with regard to your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). This is in particular the supervisory authority at your place of residence or place of work.

This privacy notice is updated whenever the website's functions change. The version published here at the time applies.
