XIIW gripsters

XIIW is one of the many brands offering vacuum grippers from Chinese mass production. The brand is represented in the comparison with 5 electric models, 2 round and 3 oval. Several units re-pump automatically when pressure drops.

Model range

The two round models have an 8-inch suction plate and are rated at 300 kg. The cheaper one, at €32, comes with two removable batteries and a carrying case, while the €50 model has a vacuum gauge in addition to the LCD display. Both are described as re-pumping automatically.

On the oval side there is a 10-inch twin pack with four 3,000 mAh batteries and 260 kg that works out at €36 per unit, a cordless vacuum lifter with a textured contact pad for €80 and a model with automatic pressure control for €100. The latter is listed with 240 kg load capacity, a 16.8 V, 1,500 mAh battery for up to 60 minutes and one-handed operation.

Prices and load capacity

Prices range from €32 to €100, with a median of €50, below the €68 median across all 519 offers. The median load capacity is 280 kg, and the strongest are the round 8-inch models at 300 kg. The 240 kg model is noteworthy: it states a recommended working load of 120 kg, half the maximum load capacity. The guide Judging load capacity correctly explains why this difference matters.

Features

All 5 units have a digital display, and 4 use a removable battery. No offer mentions USB-C charging or a vibration function. All seals are rubber. The two self-re-pumping 8-inch models and the model with automatic pressure control have automatic re-pump.

Who are these lifters for?

XIIW suits users looking for an affordable vacuum lifter, often called a gripster in the trade, with re-pumping, for example for tiles and slabs that are held for longer periods. Whether 8 or 10 inches is the better fit depends on the format, see 8-inch vs. 10-inch. The model with one-handed operation makes it easier to work with one hand free. Before every lift, the display should report a stable vacuum.
