Sundpey gripsters

Sundpey, sometimes sold as SundpeyPRO, is one of the many brands selling vacuum lifters from Chinese mass production. The brand is represented in the comparison with 5 models. All are oval 10-inch cordless gripsters with a rated load capacity of 300 kg and removable batteries.

Model range

The single units come with two 3 Ah removable batteries, a charger, a digital display and a carrying case: as SundpeyPRO for €40 and as Sundpey for €50. Three offers are twin packs with two vacuum grippers, four 3,000 mAh batteries and two chargers. They work out at €30, €32 and €44 per unit. The suction pad is listed as 10 inches or 254 mm. The category Twin packs and sets gives an overview of such sets.

Prices and load capacity

Prices range from €30 to €50, with a median of €40, well below the €68 median across all 519 offers. Four of the five offers are under €50, and the most expensive is exactly €50. Load capacity is rated at 300 kg throughout. Per euro, that adds up to a great deal of rated capacity. The ranking Most load capacity per euro shows how this compares across the whole field.

Features

All units run on a removable battery with an external charger, and none offers USB-C charging. Every unit has a digital display and a rubber seal. There is no vibration function. The second battery per gripster lets you keep a charged spare on hand.

Who are these lifters for?

Sundpey suits tile setters and DIYers who need two vacuum grippers for large-format tiles or patio slabs and are watching the price. The twin packs provide everything for two-person work. The oval suction pad suits elongated formats. Even with an inexpensive vacuum lifter, often called a gripster in the trade, the rule applies: clean the surface, check the display before lifting and never carry heavy slabs alone.
