Overview

Electric mini gripster with 9 cm suction strip and LED indicator: an electric vacuum lifter with a narrow, rectangular suction pad. For around €98, the manufacturer quotes a load capacity of 200 kg. It is sold without a brand name of its own, like many gripsters made in China.

Drive and operation

Power comes from a removable battery. When it runs flat, you simply insert a charged one and keep working without a charging break. LEDs signal whether the vacuum is holding. If the vacuum drops, the tool automatically pumps back up.

Seal and applications

The sealing lip is rubber. On smooth surfaces such as glass, polished tiles and stone it seals very tightly and lasts a long time; on rough or textured surfaces it is at a disadvantage. According to the data sheet it is suitable for tiles, natural stone and glass.
