Spain is represented in the database by one brand: Rubi. All four listings are cordless vacuum lifters, often called gripsters in the trades, with a median price of €96. The charging technology stands out: three of the four models charge via USB-C.

Models

Rubi offers an oval mini cordless gripster with 70 kg for €34 and three round models from the Octo family. The OCTO-USB Energy with an 8-inch suction pad and 140 kg appears in two listings at €95 (Art. 66967) and €97. The strongest model is the Octo-Kong Energy with a 220 mm suction pad and 150 kg for €103.

Prices and load capacity

Prices range from €34 to €103, with a median of €96 and an average of €82. No Rubi model costs more than €103, the lowest maximum price of all countries of origin. Load capacity lies between 70 and 150 kg, with a median of 140 kg. For every €100 of purchase price you get a median of 147 kg of load capacity, almost exactly as much as with US brands (148 kg) and far less than with Chinese brands (337 kg).

Features

All four models are electric. The three Octo models have a built-in battery charged via USB-C and a digital display for the vacuum. At 75%, the USB-C share is the highest of all countries of origin, while among Chinese electric units it is 14%. None of the listings states a removable battery, and one has an automatic re-pump. The median battery capacity is 2,000 mAh, compared with 3,000 mAh for Chinese units.

The seal is rubber throughout, and there is no vibration function. Whether a built-in battery with USB-C or a removable battery better suits the way you work is explained in Removable battery vs. USB-C. You will find more models with this charging method under USB-C charging, and advice on runtime and care in the guide Battery and charging.

Where the units are made

One of the four listings names China as the country of manufacture, and the other three give no information. So even a European brand has at least some of its vacuum grippers made in China. For buyers, the company's headquarters therefore matters less than features, spare parts supply and price. Direct comparisons are available in China vs. Spain and Germany vs. Spain.
