Prices
GRABO costs a median of €266, German brands €90. The averages are €286 versus €100. GRABO models range from €72 to €500, German models from €59 to €179. GRABO's median is therefore almost €90 above the most expensive German listing.
Load capacity and features
At GRABO, only the Grabo H states a load capacity, 170 kg for €226. German models carry a median of 300 kg within a range of 120 to 300 kg. Per €100 of purchase price, the figures are 75 kg for GRABO and 273 kg for the German brands.
Both sides are fully electric. GRABO uses a removable battery on 67% of its models, while none is stated for the German listings, although 40% of them have a built-in battery. Neither side offers USB-C. An automatic re-pump is found on 67% of GRABO and 40% of German models. For the display, GRABO uses a digital display on 56% of models and a pressure gauge on two, the German brands LEDs on 60% and a digital display on 40%. All GRABO models are oval, compared with 60% of the German ones. Foam seals are found only at GRABO, on a third of the models.
Manufacturing
All nine GRABO listings state China as the country of manufacture. The German listings contain no information on the country of manufacture.
Verdict
German brands deliver far more load capacity per euro and cost around a third as much by median. GRABO, in return, offers removable batteries, an automatic re-pump more often and foam seals for rough surfaces.
