Electric gripster 30 kg for LED modules with removable battery

Overview

Electric gripster 30 kg for LED modules with removable battery: an electric vacuum lifter with a narrow, rectangular suction pad. Its stated load capacity is 30 kg, and it costs around €407. It is sold without a brand name of its own, like many gripsters made in China.

Price and load capacity compared

Among the 51 narrow vacuum grippers in this comparison, it ranks in the most expensive quarter. At 30 kg, its load capacity is 70 kg below the typical value for this design (100 kg). That works out at 7 kg of capacity per €100 spent; the median is 148 kg.

Drive and operation

Power comes from a removable battery. When it runs flat, you simply insert a charged one and keep working without a charging break. LEDs signal whether the vacuum is holding.

Seal and applications

The seal is made of foam. It adapts to grooves, textures and slight unevenness, but wears faster than rubber and should be available as a spare part.
