Schwerkraft gripsters

Schwerkraft is a brand from Germany and is represented in the comparison with 3 offers. All three concern the same type of unit: an oval cordless vacuum lifter for tiles with 300 kg holding force. Along with Werkmax, Schwerkraft is one of two German brands in the comparison.

Model range

The range consists of a single model, the cordless tile gripster with oval suction pad, LED indicator and carrying case. It appears in three offers at €60, €90 and €110. The description is the same in all three cases: up to 300 kg holding force, LED indicator and case included. More units of this design are listed in the category Oval gripsters.

Prices and load capacity

Prices range from €60 to €110, with a median of €90, above the €68 median across all 519 offers. There is a €50 gap between the cheapest and the most expensive offer for the same unit, so comparing prices pays off particularly well here. Holding force is given as 300 kg, which is both the median and the maximum for the brand.

Features

All three offers describe an electric vacuum lifter with a battery. No offer mentions a removable battery or USB-C charging. Status is shown by LED rather than a digital display. The comparison Digital display vs. LED shows what difference this makes in practice. The seal is rubber, and there is no vibration function.

Who are these lifters for?

The Schwerkraft vacuum lifter is aimed at DIYers and tile setters who want a simple oval unit for tiles and slabs and can do without a numeric readout. The LED indicator reports the vacuum status but does not replace checking for a secure grip before every lift. The 300 kg rating is a maximum, and the practical working load is considerably lower. The guide Working safely with gripsters explains how to use vacuum lifters, often called gripsters in the trade, safely. China vs. Germany shows how German and Chinese brands differ in the data comparison.
