Vacuum grippers with the highest load capacity
Sorted by stated maximum load capacity. Identical devices appear only once.
This ranking sorts all vacuum lifters by their rated maximum load capacity. At the top are units rated at 400 and 500 kg, while across all 519 models the typical value is 200 kg.
How to read this ranking
The load capacity comes from the data sheet and describes the holding force under ideal conditions: a smooth, airtight surface, full vacuum, and a pull perpendicular to the suction pad. Tied values are common, because many models state round figures such as 200 or 300 kg.
What to watch out for
A high number alone does not make a vacuum lifter, often called a gripster in the trade, any safer. Allow for at least a factor of 2 as a reserve, and bear in mind that lateral loading when carrying a slab upright significantly reduces the holding force. The top models are mostly tile vibrators with a vibration function. Background is explained in Assessing load capacity realistically, and all units over 300 kg are listed under Over 300 kg.
